Ever since he was young, Kalen Stewart-Harris enjoyed creating and making things. From sculpting in his grandma’s studio to anticipating the most imaginative Halloween costumes each year, he found the love for design that currently drives his studies as a senior in the BYU animation program.
“Whatever the medium or product is, art has always been more than simply something I enjoyed doing, but something I had to do. I think for me the thrill comes from acting on that divine yearning within all of us to create.”

Whether it be creating a masterpiece from a blank canvas, producing a moving symphony, or directing a timeless classic, the ability to not only create something that didn’t exist before, but also something beautiful, unique, or inspiring is what drives me.”
